Congratulations on a clear presentation of a novel and exciting body of truly interdisciplinary work! This work connected James, an student in Physics, with professors in physics and neurobiology and a post-doctoral researcher in neurobiology to extend our understanding of a fundamental aspect of perception and of the neural mechanisms that give rise to motion perception.

Great work! Excellent presentation. Has there been any experiments on animals other than humans?

Thanks for your compliments! We are currently performing experimental tests in Drosophila, and we’re very excited to see what we find. I think it would also be interesting to perform experiments using other model organisms, but we’re not there yet.
